I hope you have a very Blessed Thanksgiving, however you celebrate the day. Because of the snow, plans have changed here, but it will still be just as meaningful.
A couple pictures of Annie this time. She was finally in the posing mood.
And one of Josey getting ready for bed.
Getting to my place at Thanksgiving isn't exactly "over the hills and through the woods." It's more like "down that straight gravel road and to the left at the dead end." But it is home just the same.
Peace be with you at Thanksgiving.
Phil
Geraniums are so pretty and how nice that you have such pretty ones at this time of year! What a sweet tradition to keep growing them! Love Annie...she looks very content. Enjoy your trip "down that straight gravel road and to the left at the dead end." LOL Wishing you a happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Enjoy the week!
DeleteWhat a wonderful tradition! And what a treat to have geraniums at thanksgiving. Annie and Josey are beautiful. Very smart to stay warm and cosy when there's snow on the ground. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a nice week. I always like your posts.
DeleteAnnie and Josey are beautiful cats. What would a home be without them?
ReplyDeleteThe geraniums that summered on our east porch are now nicely settled in the sun room; several have recovered from pruning and are putting out cheerful scarlet blooms.
Something about the geraniums that just make a house "home."
DeleteFor some reason, I've never had any success with geraniums, inside or out. I love them so am enjoying yours.

Thanks for visiting. When I lived in Florida I found the best care for geraniums was just "benign neglect" in kind of a shady spot. Happy Thksgvg!
DeleteThose geranium photos are the prettiest things I've seen today, and the kitties are a close second!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
DeleteI'm trying to winter 2 white geraniums in the sunroom. They are getting leggy but no bugs so far. Yours look very healthy.
ReplyDeleteAnnie and Josey are just beautiful!!
Good luck with the geraniums!
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving! My grandma kept Geraniums and what ever else she could in south facing windows all winter:)
ReplyDeleteI see you are getting snow up there. Hope not too much yet.
DeleteHow I wish I had a window area in which to keep geraniums all winter. The splash of color must give you joy whenever you pass by them. And also bring to mind all your lovely family memories! Your pictures are always so gorgeous. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. I wish I had a bigger window in the kitchen. That's where I'd really like to have them. Maybe someday.
DeleteThis is such a good post. Your Geraniums are so pretty, and so are those kitty cats. Annie and Josey are beautiful! Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I had a good Thanksgiving. I hope you also had a nice one and your pets and family are all fine.
DeleteThese photos are so lovely. Your family farm looks like the perfect place to enjoy all the seasons. Get some rest this winter, because spring brings with it loads of work :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit to my blog. I hope you have a restful winter also.

Thanks you!
DeleteI had the same geraniums for years! But I couldn’t bring them back from overwintering this past year. I’d put them out in big pots during the warmer season then bring them inside and pretty much forget about them for the winter. This worked for about 10 years but they decided enough was enough this year. I miss them. Yours are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog! I'll be interested in following yours.
DeleteOh! Thank you! I'm looking forward to following along on your adventures!
