The downy woodpecker spends time at the suet cage.
Red-bellied woodpeckers in an oak and nibbling on suet.
Sparrows content with scraps on the ground.
The screen is obstructing the redpoll, but you can see the beautiful markings.
Young bluejay getting some sun.
And finally, a rooster pheasant stopping by today. I need to put out more cracked corn tomorrow.
I'm glad you stopped by, and I welcome any comments.
Phil
That male Pheasant is so handsome and he seems to know it too.
ReplyDeleteI want to feed them more. Last year I had many hens also.
DeleteWonderful birds! We have some similar and I especially miss my sweet quail family that left for greener pastures when winter set up housekeeping. The pheasant fellow is magnificent!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments! I hope to feed them more. Maybe the pheasant hens will also return, I'm hoping. They're fun to have around.
